Feeding Myself and Cars
Xander decided today he was no longer interested in his High Chair.
He climbed up to the chair and sat down with his eyes popping over the table barely so I got him a phone book (world's best booster seat) to sit on and he ate his whole dinner at the table
NO PROBLEM! Wohoo! I may be able to get rid of another piece of baby furniture that can go to the basement.

Boulder Bolder
Jeremy and I decided to run the Boulder Bolder this year.
The price is getting, well pricey so it may be an every other year thing for our family.
I am so thankful for my Dad.
Thanks for giving us this tradition
Thanks for being such a fun
family man!
Because of you, I started running this race when I was 7 years old!
And this year's marks the 25th one I have finished! WoHOO!
My husband Jeremy likes it too! He ran with Xander on his back! Well he walked but he worked just as hard as someone running with a little dude on his back!
This year, I ran a 1:05. Not my fastest. But not my slowest! I am just happy I did it!
Tirsa, a friend from church ran it too! She did a great job! We stuck together the whole time!
On the back of his pack, we made a sign, that said,
WHY WALK WHEN
YOU CAN RIDE!
Brushing his teeth
Xander is getting more and more independent and wanting to do things for himself. He loves to climb up the little step ladder and brush his teeth. I actually brush them first and then he plays a little. But he smiles in the mirror a lot as he gets the toothbrush wet, so it is pretty darn cute!
I am so thankful for this little guy!
He screams, LOUD! and a lot
but he also says MOM and DAD
and gives lots of loves and kisses!

Buddies
Last week my college roommate AMIE came from Texas
We never talk on the phone
We keep up on each others blogs
but that is about it.
But when she comes
I talk and talk and talk to her
I love it.
We talk about houses and Dave Ramsey and our families.
I wish she lived closer
I really do. I am saving my pennies to come visit her in Texas.
Our boys will be forced to be friends :)
Once a year reunion.
We made Crepes with Nutella
YUM
We dressed our little guys in matching outfits
and bought flip flops at REI (well Amie did)
We went to a cool Asian food place and to the Children's Museum and I rode a SCOOTER for the first time.
Friends are good for your health.
I am glad I found this one at 18 and at 33, I still have her.
Thanks!
