Pictures from the past two months!

We made it up to Rocky Mountain National Park towards the end of summer.  We went on a little hike and went fishing!

Xander stopped and talked to everyone on the trail.  He told them, "Hi, my name is Xander, my Dad caught a fish, but then it got away."  HA HA!  He must have stopped like 25 fellow hikers!
September came and that means Broomfield Days.  I once again entered him in the Clown Contest and he got up there and said, "Hi my name is Xander and I am going to show you my dance moves!"  He then got his Groove on and for the 2nd year in a row, took 1st place!  He could have won another Bike but picked playdough instead and gave the 3rd place kid in the Robot costume the Bike.
 Cutest Clown EVER!
Celia waited patiently for Xander to finish!
 Love this kid!
Tryin out the Cool Cars at the B Days Car show!
My Baby Girl!  At almost 11 months, Jeremy took her to get her ears pierced.  So cute!  She finally broke through and two bottom teeth appeared at 11 months as well.  She learned how to crawl up the stairs and down the stairs.  She loves books and flipping pages. She loves playing with cars and legos with Xander.  She loves to SCREAM!  We have been working so hard on Sign Language but she would rather just scream and grunt her needs and wants.
 Love

Cleaning Celia off after Dinner one night!

Finally One year old!  Happy Birthday!  October 18th!  She had been sick for the previous 5 days before her Birthday and started feeling a little better when we celebrated.  I made a simple cake, that everyone else ate but her!  Xander and Celia both did not touch their one year old treat!  But I want her to know that I care about her and I am so glad to have a little girl in my life!  I am so excited to watch you grow and develop and change.  I am so excited for all the future memories of you!  It has been a great first year with you in our life Celia and it keeps getting better!

Thanks for choosing us to be your family and bring such Joy to our life!
Well maybe she did take a couple of bites!   But not much!
Her One year old present!  I purposely chose a present that Xander would enjoy as well!  He is such a sweet brother to her!  They have fun together!
Went to Anderson Farms!  Xander picked a Pumpkin for his Aunt Laural.  "We don't need pumpkins Mom, We already bought 3 at Walmart"  For 1/2 the price as these pumpkins, I might add!  :)
Celia enjoyed Cheese Balls and started turning into an Orange little Pumpkin!
 Beautiful Autumn!
 Pretty Girl!  Chick-A-DEE
 Four tooth!
Handsome, Popular Boy!  He has been having so much fun with friends this year!  I have him in Joy School and in Preschool at Birch Elementary and he never tires of being around people and playing!  He is such a fun kid and brings so much happiness to my life!

Today he told me, "Mom, the baby in your tummy does not wear diapers, so does her poop, come out of you too?"

He loves to sing, "We are Soldiers"  A song his Dad likes.

He LOVES Bearinstien Bears Books as of late. We have been checking them out at the Library a lot lately.

He is playing Soccer again this Fall!

Fun Times!

Life according to Instagram

Instagram has become my new Blog.  My sisters, Mom and I share random shots of our life via Intagram.  Love Instagram but my Blog suffers.  I publish my Blog, I was just looking at the one I published awhile back and it made me realize that I gotta keep up with my Blog.  It is my Journal and my scrapbook.  Summer was here and gone.  Thank goodness for Freezer Pops and Child Proof Scissors that made having an easy treat fast and INDEPENDENT!
My little Miss is now 10 months.  Where did the 9 Month post go?  Wow!  Food tastes great and I eat more of it!  I drink formula from a Bottle, I have moved out of Mom's room.  I sleep through the night and take two regular naps a day :)  Life is good!   I clap and point and crawl all over the place!  My Brother is still the funniest kid on the block and I laugh hysterically when he does the most simple things, like throwing dandelions in the air and screaming!
Painting with Grandma is still one of Xander's favorite things to do!  We do A LOT of stuff at home.  We need to work on getting out more but we do have FUN!

We did make it to the Butterfly Pavillion with the Parker Downs Family!  Good tip is it is 5.00 after 3pm and 2 hours is plenty of time in this place.  Xander and I were the only ones brave enough to hold Rosie and get our sticker.  Rosie is a big spider!  We love the Parker Downs!  Always so much fun to be with them :)
At the Library!  I am doing a Joy School for Xander as well as he is attending Birch Preschool starting Thursday!  So he will be busy 5 days a week!  And all for minimal cost.  Some say it is too much (Jeremy) But Xander LOVES people and so I think it is going to be a fun year!  I also will get to teach the Joy School 4 weeks!  Which I am real excited about!  So we will be visiting the Library a lot more :)
My brother Jeff got this toy for Christmas sometime in the 80's and it is still fun to set up the tiles and knock them over!  Never gets old!
Xander came down with his Rockies Shirt on one day and said, "This is my Rockies shirt, because I am a big fan"
One of Celia's first days of being a crawler!  (9 months)
Celia's first Pony tail!  (9months old)
Xander's favorite thing, Playing Angry Birds on the iphone!  Loves Angry birds!
Jeremy made a delicious pie from Cherries from his Parent's neighborhood in Brigham City Utah!
We did make it Bowling for Family Home Evening one Monday!  Hopefully when Jeremy is done with school we can make it a more regular Occurance.  Family Home Evening that is.

Another Funny moment in Celia's life where she found Xander doing something very funny!
Wish we could have done more of this, this summer!  But it just didn't happen.  Jeremy worked almost every Saturday this summer and with my surprise pregnancy and Morning Sickness, and Summer School, we were lucky to make it to Boulder Falls for a small hike :)

Why didn't they have more things like this when I was a kid!  Could have saved my parents a fortune in Water Bills!  We ran the hose all day on the trampoline and down the metal slide of our playground!
Another regular hang out for us is Paul Derda Rec Center!  I take a class 3 times a week and Xander goes to the Day Care!  He loves it!  He thinks it is Rec Center Preschool.  We stay and play in their indoor playground for an hour or so after class.  This has been a staple for us all summer long as well!
Celia enjoys frozen treats on a stick!

Is adorable in the Dress her Grandma Johnson made her with needlepoint ducks done by hand!

Summer Lovin

Wow!  Lots have been going on since my last post.  I can't believe that it has been so long, but everyone needs to play Catch-up every now and then!  These photos were on Xander's last day of Preschool!  It was a really great experience for him and these ladies really helped him grow into a more responsible and polite little boy!  He also loved all his little friends that he made there.

Next year we qualified for a Head Start Program at Birch Elementary, so he will be going 4 days a week!  SO EXCITED!  I know he is going to miss it at this Preschool but I am excited that he gets to go 4 days a week!  He loves to be around people and socialize so it will be great for him!

Memorial Day weekend, We headed to Utah for a week!  Well Jeremy, went for a week with me and then I stayed on a little longer to wait for my parents, so we could go to Pinetop Arizona to my Mom and Dad's Cabin/House!  The following week!  We had a lot of fun in Utah.  We were able to rent a little Vacation apartment in North Ogden, that was perfect for our family.  We slept in,  made pancakes, went to Pineview Res.  and enjoyed visiting with friends and family.
We went to a Johnson Family party aka....The Weenie Roast in Jeremy's Grandpa's backyard!  He is 90 something years old and still putters around his farm!  It is also who Xander was named after, "Curtis" It was fun to connect with some of Jeremy's cousins and also to see Jeremy's Kids, Makenzee, Dylan and Wyatt.
After the week of fun with Jeremy's family, Jeremy dropped me off in Lehi Utah, where I spent a couple of days visiting my friend Melissa.  Our kids are pretty close in age, so it was fun to let them run around together!  She is an amazing cook and Mommy and I learned a lot of things by hanging out with them for a couple of days!  I now have the best Bibs ever for Celia, thanks to her, and also a delicious recipe for baked Oatmeal!

Thanks Taylor Family!
Grandma Johnson made this bonnet for Celia!  I love it!  She is getting to be such a good baby!  I missed the 8 month post, as she is almost 9 months but she is not quit crawling yet, still has no teeth, but has managed to start eating baby food and filling her tummy so she will sleep through the night!
Now that we are home in Broomfield Colorado, we go to The Bay at least once a week!  We love it!  All of Xander's former swim instructors are Life Guards there, and they all remember him.  Ha!  Reminds me when I was a kid and used to hang out at the swim pool and flirt with the lifeguards, when I was like 8.  He is 4!  What am I going to do with him!

Xander turned 4 on June 29th and we made this cake together!
This was taken in Pinetop with his cousin Annie!  We had a fun week in Pinetop.  We went swimming everyday.  Xander built lots of confidence in his Swim Life Jacket!  He was such a Fish!
He also loved making friends with whoever would play with him.
Before we went to Pinetop, we stayed one night at a Hotel and my niece Nicolina came and saw us and we went swimming in the hotel pool, of course!  It was fun to see the Beautiful BYU girl!

For Xander's Birthday, My Mom and Dad took him and his Cousin Bowen to the Rockies Firework game!  Jeremy and I were supposed to take him, but I have been feeling really sick.  Because while I was gone for three weeks, I also took a test and it was positive.

Surprise!

Pretty soon
Jan 2013 another little one will be in the shopping cart!

Very shocked but very excited!

Starting to feel a little better and maybe the posts on the blog will pick up again!
