Smiles

We set Xander up in his own little chair!  The boppy!  He loved it!  He is so much fun!  I just sit there and stare at him.

He has been smiling lately.  When I talk to him and tell him how cute he is!  I tried to capture it on camera but I am not fast enough.  So really he was smiling just before this shot.

I almost got it again!

Last try!  Give him a few more months and he will be smiling like a pro!  He makes me smile everyday!  I enjoy being his mom.  All my Primary kids love to hold him so he gets passed around a lot.  One primary teacher said, "You are so brave to let all the kids hold him." I just remember back to when I was a kid and I would hold as many babies as I could at church. I figure the more people that want to hold and love Xander the better.  Plus, I think it will make him tough!

So, My sister-in-law Jami gave me a bunch of really cute clothes.  He has enough to wear 5 different outfits a day.  In the clothes were these little plaid shorts.  They are bright but I love them!  I know the Maxfield family is a fan of the plaid.  So these shots are for you!  Can I be on your team?

I think he is thinking,  "Mom I am Jeremy's son, I don't wear plaid shorts I should be wearing waders so I can go fishing.  I am getting sad."

I just farted in these plaid shorts!  That will make Dad happy!

Can I take them off now please?  

Kiddie Kandids

Xander had his first photos last Wednesday.  They turned out as good as you can get for a little guy.

I wonder if he will watch T.V like me?  He loves to look out of the corner of his eye.

The rest of summer

So,  I have not blogged for awhile.  Time flies when your having fun and busy.  We have been busy.

It has been so nice to have Dylan, Makenzee and Wyatt here for the summer.  They have been a big help and have given Xander so much love.  We will miss them.  

Alexander was blessed on the 3rd of August.  Mom and I went the day before to find the blessing outfit.  We were so lucky to find a cute one fast.  With four kids it is hard to go shopping so when Jeremy's family came to town for the blessing it was nice to have a day to go around.

Jeremy gave a very nice blessing.  He told me, 

"My blessings are short but meaningful!"

He gave a beautiful blessing!
