Xander and the Vacuum

http://www.vacuumcleanersusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/dysondc07.jpg

I get really excited when I turn this on
My sister introduced me to this vacuum
A long time ago and I knew one day I would have one too

So when Jeremy and I bought the house I started searching on Craig's list.
And I bartered back and forth
until I talked him down to a good price
and he met us late one night at a Mc Donalds in
Denver.

Jeremy swears it was Black Market
But I was happy I had my vacuum
One that I knew would suck up all the particles of dirt
I hate
And better yet, I could see inside it's tummy
How much dirt and hair and all the things I loathe
was being eaten by my Beautiful Yellow Machine.

Well today I turned on Mrs. Yellow Submarine
My Queen.
And someone started giggling
Threw the bottle down he was devouring
and started to follow sunshine
as she ate up dirt

He army crawled after that machine
like it was all there was to live for
It went right he went right
Living room
My room
Kids room

He was with her every step of the way
I bet he just can't wait until he gets to push it!

Wyatt writing his name

This is how WYATT writes his name.
"WY line WY"
He says
"BECAUSE I AM WY-WY.
NOT WYATT"

This little Guy is so much fun!
Happiest baby on the block!

Two of my favorite little boys
To bad I look a little weird.
I think it was a half blink look or something.

This is Xander crawling for the first time!
He is faster now!
Not up on the knees yet!

But a perfect ARMY DUDE!
I love how he says BA BA BA
As he is going for the Basketball!

Easter Sunday

Someday I will have a pretty Easter table that looks like this!

This is my sister-in-law Jami's table!
They totally decked out their dining room with new table and Italian theme.
I will post more pictures of it later.

Even though we did not have a pretty table, we had a lot of GOOD FOOD!
And a lot of FUN!

I saw on "BAREFOOT CONTESSA" one time on the "FOOD NETWORK"
Where she frosted a cake and the kids decorated it with candy!
So I did it! They had a blast!
But it was a little too much candy

As you can probably tell!

And most of that candy was licked before it was put on the cake.......
So wasn't exactly eaten
But it was an activity that was enjoyed!
And a memory that I will treasure!

ACE'S BAPTISIM

Ace was baptized Easter Saturday! What a great day to become clean like the Savior!
I was happy to have all my "kids" with me!

Ace is holding "THREE BEARS"

Grandma Jannet read a poem about these "THREE BEARS"
I could not find the poem on the internet but here is the story that I found on "SugarDoodle"

I'm sure all of you know the story of the Three Bears. Sometime this year you will be baptized and I want to tell you about the 3 bears of baptism. These bears remind us of the covenants we make with our Heavenly Father when we are baptized. A covenant is a very special kind of promise. The baptismal covenant is promises we make and the promise of great blessings our Heavenly Father makes to us. He NEVER breaks HIS promises, but he knows that sometimes we might break ours. So he has given us a chance every week to renew our Baptismal Covenant or in other words start over to keep our promises to Him. It is when we take the sacrament that we can renew the promises we made when we were baptized.

We don't hear these covenants or promises when we are being baptized but we find them in the scriptures. The first promise or the first BEAR is in the Book of Mormon in the 26th chapter of Mosiah verse 18. We promise that we are willing to bear, carry or be known by his name and we will be his children and belong to him. Just as you bear your father's name and you belong to him. In ancient times the followers of Jesus were called Christians. Now we can be called Latter-day Saints or Christians. Either one means we bear His name.

Our second BEAR of baptism is to bear testimony, to offer or to bear witness that we know Jesus is the Son of God. That we know he is our Savior and we know His gospel is true. We must bear this testimony all the rest of our lives. This is one way we show our love for Jesus and our Heavenly Father.

Our third BEAR of baptism is that we bear one another's burdens, that they may be light. That means we help each other with the work that needs to be done and also we help others when they have trouble and sorrow so they won't suffer alone. This is one way we can follow the Savior's commandment to love one another, the same way He loves us.

Alma taught these same baptism covenants to the people. He was baptizing people at the waters of Mormon... (read Mosiah 18: 8-10) (as you read point out the bears -'called his people' -bear his name, 'stand as witness' -bear testimony and of course bear one another's burdens).

Did you hear what Heavenly Father promises - that He will pour out His spirit upon us, I can think of nothing better than to always have his spirit with us.

If you forget these covenants listen carefully to the priests as they bless the sacrament (you can re-read the Mosiah scripture one more time) And remember your bears...

You bear his name.
You bear your testimony.
You bear one another's burdens

Swimming With Xander

Xander and I met some friends at Carbon Valley Rec
For some swimming!
Xander's first time!
Loved it!
Kicked
Splashed
Screamed!
He is a Fish!

He loves kids and kids love him!
I am so lucky to have such a fun loving baby that
Laughs
Smiles
and really enjoys life!

No Pictures
To much fun!
But it will forever be a picture in my heart!
I have a little boy
and he is mine
and I don't have to give him back to his Mom
Because that is me!
Sometimes I still can't believe it!
