Jeremy and Toys

Last weekend we went to Colorado Springs and Grandma Johnson
gave Xander a White Hummer
and He LOVES it.

It is on of his favorite toys and So I save it for Church because it kept him completely entertained
it is out in the car right now so that is
why it is not pictured here amongst the other vehicles

Any way, Jeremy came home the other night with some more cars for the X-Man because he loves the one Grandma J gave him so MUCH!

He has learned the art of spreading toys around. Every where I go he likes to play by me so he will go to his toy room to get a toy and then where ever I am he and his toys will be.
So instead of toys in the toy room
there are toys in the
kitchen
family room
living room
his room
my room
and toy room

I pick them up every day and back out in little piles around the house they come.

This is another piece of plastic that has found it's way into our house.
But he loves it. Pulls a chair up to it so he
can dunk the ball
climb down from the chair
get the ball
climb up
dunk
climb down.

Love him. Love the learning. Love Basketball

And last but not least, while we are playing with toys, my husband continues to pound General Ed classes out of the way.
He is taking a Public Speaking class and for his informative speech he talked about
Heating and Air Conditioning!

He did not have to have a visual but he did one just so every one could
Completely understand the beauty of
what makes
Malls wonderful on a hot day
and our homes wonderful on a
cold day.

He is so cool.

We are almost 1/2 way done with his education and the first 1/2 has gone by so FAST!. It stinks because he is gone until 8pm every night but Friday and the weekend and when he is home he is studying but I know it will be worth it when we are done.

SO This video was taken after the other one and I think He was disappointed the whole time that I turned the music off as you can tell at the end. He was going through the motions but I really think the whole time he was trying to tell me to turn that radio back on.

I also forgot that I had gum in my mouth, so sorry about the "chewing".

Ragner Relay

This is me thinking I am running the Boulder Bolder
and I think I am supposed to grab my water and
GO!

But I was not running the Boulder Bolder
I was running the RAGNER RELAY
I was on my last leg when this was taken
Before this I had run
6.1 miles
3.4 miles
and this was the last one of
6.6 miles

Wow! That is great!
I am so thankful that my sister invited me to do this. I have been trying to get motivated to run since after I had Xander
and I thought it was not in me anymore.

But I found it! And it feels great!

So great, that I have started a Running Club we meet twice a month at a different place and RUN!
This last Saturday was our first run
and 5 ladies came.

Jeremy made Yummy Blue Berry Muffins for us when we were done
as well as Water and Bananas and Grapes.

Of course most people don't like to eat after they run
But I do!

So I ate them all
or at least 12 of the 24 he made

But that is why I run right!

The newest Cousin

Xander was so sweet with the newest little cousin!
My sister-in-law Emily had her first little guy

This one is so sweet!
I had to go back and look at the newborn pictures of Xander
when I got home. It seems like yesterday that I brought the
little X man home

Looks like Xander is going to be quite the big brother
when it is time for the next baby Johnson!

Our Valentine present

Valentines day was a couple weeks ago and Jeremy and I went to the Stake Dance
We were a little early from dropping Xander off at Grandma and Grandpa's house so we went and killed some time at King Soopers and looked at Magazines.

One of our things we like to do.

We were on our way out when we saw the Orchids. They were so beautiful! I looked at Jeremy
"Did you get me something for Valentine's"
"um no"
"Oh good, I did not get you anything either"
at the same time we said,
"Let's get an Orchid"

The petals sparkle like someone dusted glitter on them.
It is a beautiful flower
that represents
my beautiful life.

I hope this Orchid lasts forever!

Stuff to do...

Life has been so crazy lately with work and training for a race and Young Womens.
My life is based on blocks of time
That sometimes I forget the most important thing
Raising my son
Like a few weeks ago when I was trying to get Laundry done
and Xander just wanted me to color with him
so I forgot about the big pile of Laundry for a few minutes
and colored with this boy

I kept trying to go back to the Laundry but Xander with his sticky fingers kept putting the markers in my hands.

Laundry will wait and always be there but this little boy will not

Makenzee's Birthday

Happy Birthday to Makenzee on February 12th.
A little late.

The card made it on time but the blogger didn't
Jeremy's flowers were much prettier in person.
I think the flash made them look more white
then they really were.

Makenzee seems to be doing well.
