I have been Tagged
So my friend Karen "Tagged" me! I don't exactly know what this means but I guess I am supposed to post the 4th picture in my 4th file.
It was a picture of Jeremy and Makenzee on her baptism day. Jeremy and I were not married yet but Jeremy was living in Colorado. I remember how nervous and uncomfortable I was to go. I asked my cousin Stacey if I could bring her two cute girls to come with me so I could just blend in. I am very shy and I hate confrontation but I wanted to go to support Makenzee and I am glad that I did.
Things are much better then they were back then and for that I am thankful. It is just something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. I am sure many of you are thinking as you read this, I am glad that this is not me and I am glad it is not you either! But I really feel Jeremy's three little kids were supposed to be a part of my life. All the other things that come with it are challenging and stressful at times but I love those kids and care about them like they were my own. I am so thankful for them. Now having a child of my own, I feel more connected to them. Xander is their brother and I hope and pray that they will get a long and love each other.
Dylan is now getting baptized this March but this time I am not as nervous and I don't think I will have to bug my cousin Stacey to bring her girls with me.

Great picture. You can see how much she loves her daddy, and the good relationship they have. Sorry about the tag - I guess they just go around, but this one isn't as bad as some others. I actually liked going into my old pictures and seeing which one popped up.
Oh, and I love that you blend the family, and love those kids. One time when I was at Jeremy's dad's house (before we were married), one of his younger sisters (technically a half sister) was talking about how she was a half sister to Jeremy and his full sister. Jeremy's dad corrected her and told her that she was their sister, and sternly corrected her for thinking otherwise. That really impressed me (if you can follow that long story), and I think you're also doing a great job with that.
What a sweet picture. I can sense those kids love you too and I've only seen them a few times.
Alright, I posted it. You owe me.
By the way, cute pic. I love those kids too.
I did it too! That was fun and easy. Thanks for the idea.
